Some exciting news came out of last Friday’s West Haymarket JPA meeting when JPA members approved the prices and contract language for the 36 Pinnacle Bank Arena suites. This action, which was passed unanimously, marks the official commencement of the suite sales process.
According to Ben Wrigley, Principal of CSL Marketing Group and the man responsible for marketing the suites, the vote came at the perfect time. “I’ve met with a number of individuals thus far and interest in the suites is definitely on the rise. People understand this arena will serve as not only an entertainment venue, but a social and civil milestone, of sorts, for the entire city…and that’s something they would like to be a part of.”
In the days leading up to the JPA’s meeting, details highlighting suite prices, features, and amenities also became available. First, it was announced that the arena suites will be divided into two categories and three price ranges: Founders Suites for $65,000 a year and Executive Suites for $55,000 or $45,000 a year. Prices are based on the location within the arena, with the Founders suites located in the center of the arena. Suite sizes were announced as well with Founders Suites set at a uniform 365 square feet and Executive Suites ranging from 314 square feet to 470 square feet.
All arena suites will have 12 fixed seats as well as an entertainment area equipped with an assortment of features, including: drink rail with four bar stools, under-counter refrigerator, storage cabinets, buffet counter, wet bar, flat screen television equipped with in-house and cable feed, coat and storage closet and an optional company identification at the suite’s entrance. Once outside their suite, suite holders will enjoy a number of other benefits and amenities, including four reserved parking spots, a private entrance with private elevator and access to a private lounge, concierge service and suite attendant.
Founders Suite holders will enjoy additional benefits, including use of one of the arena clubs once each year, access to additional event tickets, admission to an annual Founders event and two additional parking spaces (bringing the total to 6). All packages include 12 tickets to most of the 120 events planned each year. Of special note, in the case of multi-show events (such as a circus), leaseholders will be awarded 12 tickets to only one (1) of the performances. If needed, tickets for the other performances will be available for purchase.
Lastly, the rules and regulations governing the suites were also confirmed in the last few days. According to the decided regulations, companies or individuals leasing suites will be required to: pay a $5,000 security deposit, purchase suite insurance and maintain proper decorum while using their suite. If proper decorum is not met, the JPA will have authority to remove the parties responsible from their suite. Regulations also forbid animals from the suites, unless they are being utilized for guide or assistance reasons.
According to Wrigley, the suites in the Pinnacle Bank Arena will be in line with the best in the industry. “There has never been an opportunity like this before in Lincoln. Suite guests will be surrounded by every comfort…each suite is professionally decorated, fully furnished and includes a number of top-of-the-line luxuries. No other venue in Nebraska will provide a more impressive setting for business or personal entertaining.”
