The Lincoln Journal Star recently highlighted the more than two dozen students gaining "real-world experience on one of Lincoln's biggest projects."

The story illustrated how interns have helped design plans, maintain the Pinnacle Bank Arena's website, audit the contracts and construct the 16,000-seat arena, among other duties. Among the hundreds of people who work on the project everyday were 38 students as of the fall semester. These students work for arena partners such as DLR, Hampton Enterprises, Mortensen Construction and Thought District.
