
Over the course of the next few months, HaymarketNOW! will spotlight the companies and organizations that are playing key roles in the West Haymarket Redevelopment project. Our first “Partner Spotlight” focuses on CSL Marketing Group (CSLMG), the marketing firm responsible for sale of the West Haymarket Arena’s naming rights, sponsorships and premium seating.
CSLMG is the industry’s most successful and experienced venue marketing firm. Founded in 2007 by Bill Rhoda and Ben Wrigley, the firm offers a full range of sales, marketing and project management services to municipalities, universities, professional sports franchises and convention centers. CSLMG has successfully managed some of the largest and most ambitious sales campaigns and recent clients include the New York Yankees, New York Giants and New Meadowlands Stadium.
Ben Wrigley is CSLMG’s Principal responsible for directing the naming rights, sponsorship and premium seat sales campaigns for the West Haymarket Arena. Over the course of his career, Ben has directed sale and marketing programs for 10 new or renovated sports facilities. Most recently he spent 15 months on-site directing the premium seat sales and marketing efforts for the New York Yankees and the new Yankee Stadium. When asked of his involvement with the West Haymarket Arena, Ben was optimistic about the future of the Arena.
“The West Haymarket Arena will offer several premium seating options with benefits and amenities that are going to excite the people of Lincoln.” Preliminary plans call for the Arena to have approximately 1,000 clubs seats, 20 loge boxes and 36 suites. “When all is said and done,” Wrigley stated confidently, “this arena will be a sight to behold.”
