New renderings showcasing the Pinnacle Bank Arena’s tentative exterior were released today. The renderings, which will be formally introduced at tonight’s open house scheduled for 6 pm at Pershing Auditorium, showcase a number of elements not seen in previous versions.

New elements include a spacious roof deck overlooking the arena’s main entrance as well as a large bank of windows intended for picturesque viewing of the state Capitol.

Of special note, the new renderings also showcase a more multi-leveled arena design. Officials believe the use of levels will help to improve pedestrian sightlines resulting in a more Haymarket-considerate arena exterior. City officials have said this design adjustment was in direct response to public input.

Reminder: Tonight’s open house starts at 6 pm with an open public forum beginning at 7 pm.
