A Call to Artists

The West Haymarket redevelopment group put out a call to artists everywhere to help add a unique touch to the project.

An issue with improperly bent rebar used in early construction of Pinnacle Bank Arena is nearly fixed, while the arena grows taller

An enhanced inspection process will ensure an earlier problem with improperly bent rebar will not occur, and Pinnacle Bank Arena's construction is on track for its scheduled September 2013 completion, said Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler Thursday.

Construction resumed Tuesday, Dec. 27, on Pinnacle Bank Arena after a six-day delay due to improperly bent rebar issued by a supplier.

Lincoln’s new arena in the West Haymarket area will be named Pinnacle Bank Arena.  Mayor Chris Beutler, Pinnacle Bancorp Chairman Sid Dinsdale and Pinnacle Bank President Mark Hesser announced the naming rights agreement at a news conference this morning at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Mortenson | Hampton has announced it will be hosting a job fair on Thursday, November 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm at The Cornhusker, Yankee Hill room, located at 333 South 13th Street. Representatives from Mortenson | Hampton will be on-hand accepting applications as well as providing opportunities for individuals to meet with the project superintendents.
